Urban Poverty Alleviation Programmes (UPAP)

It is a known fact that urban poverty is less visible often and gets less attention from governments or non-governmental organisations. FWF aims to tackle this from different angles. Microfinance and allied savings scheme is one of the most important tool. FWF supports micro-enterprises and small businesses (self employment) initiatives. A systematic support by linking these people with various government schemes is another way to make sure that they get the existing support they were not aware of.
